Hi, my name is Kelvin Guobadia. I joined Next Gen without really knowing what to expect, especially after attending several training platforms in the past that didn’t work out for me. At the time, I was working as a tester and had some business analyst knowledge, but I lacked the confidence to attend interviews.
Next Gen came at exactly the right time. I had an upcoming interview where I was required to deliver a presentation. After sharing my presentation with Dr B and the team, it became clear that it needed a lot of improvement. I really needed this job, as the company I was working for had gone into bankruptcy. Although I had already completed BA training and had a solid foundation, I needed guidance to truly stand out.
Dr B and the team gave me clear feedback on what to improve. I updated the presentation and shared it again – Dr B even stayed up most of the night reviewing my corrections. Their support and belief in me gave me the confidence I lacked, as I previously came across as quiet and unsure of myself. Dr B told me straight away, “The job is yours.”
I went into the interview confident, delivered a strong presentation, and got the job. I also had three other interviews lined up, and with the confidence from the first one, I secured all of them. In the end, I was able to choose the role I wanted.

A truly supportive organisation. I was introduced to NextGen through a friend who couldn’t recommend them enough, and true to his words, they are a very supportive community. In 2024, they supported me with interview preparation without even knowing me personally.
The coaches took their time to review my responses and provided detailed, constructive feedback.
I continued attending their free sessions and interview prep to keep learning while applying. When I later needed to retrain to rebuild my confidence after previous interviews, NextGen supported me again through live projects and a positive, encouraging learning environment.
